The contractor has promised to keep safe pathways to the church doors, but please respect any barriers and signs thatthe contractor sets up, and keep your head up.
Dave Cox will be our liaison with the contractor, and will make regular visits to the construction site. If you have questions or comments, please direct them to Dave.
The work will consist of:
- removing all shingles to expose the roof deck,
- making repairs to the deck as necessary,
- applying Z-bars and insulation,
- Installing a new layer of chip board and roofing materials.
Once complete, the new roof will be two inches thicker than the old and much better insulated, but in all other ways will look about the same as the existing.
St. Barnabas has proved in the past that we can pay big debts quickly, and we will need to do so again.
Just under $100K has already been spent as a down-payment on this job, and there will be another $100K due at completion.
Please be generous with your support of this once-in-a-generation project.
